Dr. Ameli is a highly respected cardiologist board certified in cardiovascular and internal medicine. He specializes in Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), Heart Blockage, High Blood Pressure (Hypertension), High Cholesterol (Hypercholesterolemia) and Unstable Angina at the at the Ameli | Dadourian Medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Ameli is a graduate of The Feinberg School of Medicine located at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He received his specialty training for Internal Medicine and Cardiology, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he also served as Chief Resident in Medicine and Chief Fellow in Cardiology. He continued as Clinical Instructor in Medicine at UCLA, in addition to serving on full-staff in the division of Cardiology at Cedars- Sinai Medical Center prior to his move to Las Vegas. He was awarded American Heart Association Cardiologist of the Year in 2009.
His distinct positions have included President of the American Heart Association and remains on the Cardiovascular Sciences Council Team, Director of Cardiology at Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas, and he is an appointed member of the Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC); Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP); and Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP).
One of Dr. Ameli’s proudest achievements is developing Ameli | Dadourian Medicine, a place that offers a unique medical experience that is hard to find in today’s corporate medical environment. In his free time, Dr. Ameli enjoys fencing and spending time with his family. He plans to participate in Doctors without Borders with his wife in the future.

Dr. Dadourian is a highly skilled, board certified in cardiovascular and internal medicine. He specializes in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology including coronary stents and angioplasty at the Ameli | Dadourian Medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Dadourian completed his medical training at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is an appointed member of the FACC (Fellow of the American College of Cardiology) and FSCAI (Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions).
His continued education has included Chief Resident of Internal Medicine and Clinical Instructor of Internal Medicine at UCLA. He has been honored in the distinct positions of Director of Las Vegas’ chapter of the American Heart Association & Stroke Prevention in 2011; Governor of the American College of Cardiology in Nevada; and President of the Las Vegas Valley division of the American Heart Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Dadourian enjoys playing golf and reading historical fiction. He looks forward to checking off items on his “bucket list”, such as: playing golf at Augusta, Georgia; traveling to Russia and China, and scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. He counts his wife and three wonderful kids as his best personal achievement.

Dr. Berelowitz was born in Cape Town South Africa He is a proud graduate of the University of Capetown Medical School. Postgraduate training included internships in general internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, neurosurgery, and obstetrics and gynecology. After time spent in the United Kingdom working in the National Health System, “Dr B” was then accepted to residency at Michael Reese Hospital affiliated with the University of Chicago. Following completion of his internal medicine residency, he moved to Boston Massachusetts, where he completed his diabetes fellowship at the Joslin clinic, New England Deaconess Hospital at Harvard Medical School, and his Endocrinology fellowship training at Boston University Hospital. He moved to Las Vegas in 1990 & has built a successful thriving endocrinology practice and has earned the respect of his colleagues and the love of his patients. Dr. Berelowitz’s diverse experience and excellent bedside manner have made him one of the most sought-after physicians in his field. Dr. Berelowitz has received numerous successive Top Doctor awards in his field during his years in Las Vegas He is a member of the American Diabetes Association, the Endocrine Society, and the National Lipid Assocation to remain abreast of the latest advancements.
He is an avid guitar player currently recording an album of his own compositions, and also enjoys vigorous long-distance swimming.
Board-Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine
Dr. Taherian has been practicing Rheumatology since 2011. She completed her internal medicine training at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, where she was elected and served as chief resident. After residency, Dr. Taherian pursued a fellowship program in Rheumatology at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Following her fellowship, she returned to Las Vegas and worked as faculty at the University of Nevada School of Medicine for two years. Dr. Taherian then joined Dignity Health Medical Group’s multi-specialty clinic, where she practiced from 2014 until July 2024.
As a Rheumatologist, Dr. Taherian diagnoses and treats autoimmune conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Myositis, Vasculitis, Scleroderma, Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Giant Cell Arteritis, as well as Gout and osteoporosis. Additionally, she performs joint aspiration and joint injections.
In her personal life, Dr. Taherian enjoys working out, cooking, and traveling.
